What Is A “Membership Model”?

Affordable Health Care offers patients an alternative to an insurance based medical practice. Our clinic is the only one in town that offers a membership plan and full range of health and illness services. Patients at AHC pay a set fee ($660/year) and can see the physician as many times as they want for one calendar year. This fee includes a number of lab tests (such as CBC, Lipid Panel, Hemoglobin, A1C, Urinalysis, etc) as well as discounted prices for procedures and medications.

AHC offers a variety of payment plans, however only cash, credit card or checks are accepted. By paying at the time of service, there is no need for extra personnel to do billing and collections. These savings are passed onto the patients.

Walk in visits are allowed. Greater savings are obtained through memberships, however.

The Membership Model allows us to provide our patients with more personalized care and treatment. Since our members can call or visit frequently without additional charges, we can stay in close contact with them. Because the fee to see a physician is handled up front for the whole year, patients feel more free to call or come in if they need to ask a question or have something checked. Our model provides a way for us to partner with our patients.
